• The stallion collects in a safe, secure environment with no risk of injury from mares.
• Competition stallions are still able to compete – stress and hassle free.
• Collection can be worked around competition commitments.
• A stallion coming to us for collection aids in the easier home management of him as he will not associate his own environment with covering.
• Owners/producers do not have the problems or expense of purchasing the necessary equipment and facilities.
• No need to have visiting mares at your home or having to try mares.

By using a dummy mare you avoid risks of injury, behavioural problems and sexually transmitted diseases, which can be associated with stallions covering naturally.

Types of Services on offer:

• Chilled – includes semen collection, all evaluation, paperwork and packaging for sending the semen to your clients anywhere in the UK.
• Fresh – enables your client’s mares to come to us – they will be monitored and you informed when to bring your stallion for collection.
• Dummy mare training – bring your stallion at times convenient to you for training or leave him with us.

Terms & Conditions

• All stallions must have either an EVA negative blood test taken since 1 January in the current year or be EVA vaccinated.
• All stallions must have an up to date CEM swab certificate.
• Both the passport and swab certificate must accompany the stallion for collection.
• Collection fees are payable at the time of collection.
• Delivery charges are either payable at the time of collection or to be arranged by the stallion owner.
